Voluntary Benefits are benefits made available to employees at no cost to the employer. These benefits can be purchased with before-tax employee dollars and are considered individual contracts, so are “portable” to the employee. Some examples of voluntary benefits are: Accident, Cancer and Long Term Care policies.
